Did you know that Americans use and toss roughly 254 million tons of single-use paper towels each year? That equals as many as 51,000 trees a day! By switching to reusable tea towels like LinenCasa's Stonewashed Linen Hand Towels, you can make a massive impact on your waste – and your wallet. Made from 100% natural stonewashed linen from flax plants, this durable kitchen towel is naturally anti-bacterial, lint-free, and is more absorbent (but dries faster) than traditional cotton towels. Plus, it's stonewashed (aka pre-washed with pumice stones), which means it's extremely soft, machine washable, won't shrink, and never needs to be ironed. What else could you want? It's time to ditch the paper towels and make the switch to long-lasting linen!
Family Business
This product is made by a family-owned business. EarthHero loves to support and empower businesses built around strong family values.

Linen
Organic linen is made from the flax plant, a versatile crop that grows with minimal water and no chemical pesticides or fertilizers. The entire flax plant is generally harvested and utilized, and the fibers used to create fabric run the length of the stem. These long fibers create a super durable fabric, and result in little to no waste in harvesting! Creating linen usually involves mechanical pulling and retting to soften and release the fibers from the stems. These fibers can then be woven into fabric without using chemical processes.

Low Impact Dyes or Inks
Low impact dyes and inks can include vegetable, soy, or water-based alternatives and generally do not contain toxins such as heavy metals, plasticizers, flurocarbons, and fomaldehyde. They typically also use less water than conventional dyes and inks.

LinenCasa

LinenCasa's husband and wife duo, Tanya and Marco, have created a business based off of the traditions and materials they love. Linen fabrics are naturally soft, so they don't require fabric softeners or harmful chemicals during production, unlike cotton textiles. Their linens are reusable and absorbent, cutting down on the need for single use paper towels and cleaning wipes. Plus, linen's naturally antibacterial, so it resists mold and mildew smells, even when used long term! EarthHero loves LinenCasa for their durable, plant-based linens crafted from locally-grown flax plants in Belarus. With Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified products, LinenCasa's bedding, towels, blankets and more are sustainably stylish and useful. Click below to learn more about LinenCasa's story!

What can I say, pretty Perfect!

There's nothing bad to say about this towel. It's absorbent, it looks good, it's well made. Even when I'm drying my cast irons and they leave a little residue behind on the towel, this thing still looks good! Crazy, I think it has something to do with the pattern. Stains don't really pop out as imperfections. I absolutely love this towel and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a well made, stylish, effective towel that will probably last forever.
