Bamboo
As a member of the grass family, bamboo is one of the fastest growing plants on earth. It requires no irrigation, pesticides or fertilizers to grow, and can be harvested within 3-5 years, as compared to approximately 30+ years for traditional hardwoods. Bamboo is extremely adaptable and produces more oxygen per acre than large tree species, while using a fraction of the water to grow. Its durable and lightweight qualities make bamboo a great alternative for hard wood products!

I’m not a fan of the handle but I really like to use the rounded bristle part in my hand.

It’s a great buy!
I’m sure this brush will last a year or so before it needs replaced and it does a good job.
The handle is reusable which is great and I love that it’s compostable! It’s hard to find a cleaning brush with compostable bristles.

I like the brush head but the handle is hard to grip – very slippery when wet – therefore would recommend the handheld version

Been working great so far! Does well at cleaning those hard to reach area in pint glasses and crevices on caps. The head has grayed a bit but that’s alright.

Hi there! These brushes are home-compostable – just remove the metal pieces and recycle them separately!

Hey, just bought this and the head is hard to remove from the handle. That’s perfectly fine for now as I haven’t used it yet but I worry that’s going to be an issue down line when I need to replace it, is that normal? Or just the wood shrink a little with use. Just curious

Hi there! The head should be a bit snug so that it does not come off during washing. You can slightly bend the metal prongs to make it a bit easier to open up if that helps!

We love this dish brush in our family. It is a great sturdy brush, that’s comfortable to use, and gets the job done quickly. I absolutely love the fact that the brush head is compostable and replaceable, although we just replaced the head after 2 years of use. And, honestly, it still didn’t need to be replaced, so the head is now being repurposed for other cleaning jobs. The replacement was effortless, and gave me so much joy knowing I wasn’t throwing it in the garbage can. I love this brush so much that it is now my favorite little gift for everyone I love in my life. I can’t believe I’m writing a review for a dish brush. 🙂

This dish brush is really good. I tend to grab for other scrubbies first but it is very good if you are use to a dish brush with a stick attachment.

I think the title says it all. The metal part that attaches the handle to the brush bent to about 45 degrees when I tried cleaning the pot from this evening. I bought this when the smaller pot scrubber wasn’t a good fit for me, and I’m honestly disappointed. I would seriously recommend a sturdier metal piece or an alternate brush.

Is this brush safe to use on non-stick or cast iron?

Hi there! We recommend using a softer cloth to clean nonstick pans as they can all require different cleaning utensils! These Swedish Dishcloths are compostable, soft, and very cute – a great pick for dishwashing!
