I use these to wash delicates as well as workout clothes. I rip up a strip and put it in the water before adding the clothes. On delicates I add some white vinegar with the rinse cycle. Works great! Especially in a household of people with sensitive skin.

I use one strip (ripped into thirds) per load with cold water in our top loader washing machine. I occasionally have loads that have some soap residue left on clothes (and one time stuck on the washing machine wall). But I’m willing to forgive those intermittent snafus for the overwhelming positives of this otherwise effective and plastic-free laundry soap. I’m a lifer.

I love how this laundry detergent is cheaper on Earth Hero than on their actual website. Granted, it’s still pricey for what you’re getting, but I don’t mind. I live in an apartment, and this saves me from the mess of transferring a liquid laundry detergent into a smaller bottle to carry all the way downstairs (no elevator), so I’ll pay for the no muss no fuss experience. I do love the fragrance-free option. I use a top loading washer, and I haven’t noticed any residue left behind. I did leave out one star for two reasons. It’s advertised as ultra concentrated, and because of that, I had expectations that this would work like my previous liquid laundry detergent, but it didn’t even remove small and/or recent stains (even when I tried using two strips for a normal/medium-sized load). My previous laundry detergent took so little to remove stains without me having to spot treat it, so I was disappointed in this area, but I can live with that. Another thing I noted was that it didn’t remove the smell of my perfume. I don’t sweat much (WA weather) and I don’t have an odor when I do, so this isn’t a dealbreaker for me, but just thought I’d warn you. Overall, I’ll keep purchasing because it’s easy to use and easy on the planet, but I wouldn’t call this a holy grail. For the price that it is, it still needs work in my opinion.

This detergent certainly seems to work, I just have a couple notes about it. If you have any kind of smelly laundry from workouts or what not, this doesn’t completely remove the smell. It also doesn’t completely remove stains. And then like some others have mentioned, in a front loading washer run on cold, the strips wouldn’t always completely dissolve. Otherwise, I like the product! I’m a college student it makes doing laundry much easier and mess free (and it’s easy to pack!!).

We have done about 20 loads with this product. We are loving it. It is so much easier than liquid detergent and avoids the dangers and waste issues associated with pods. Storing the package is also easy – no need to worry about the mess left behind by bottles. We have been pleased with the results (even in cold water), and my sensitive skin has not had any reactions. We are upping our purchase to the large package!

So I first purchased this product due to a review done by youtuber Shelbizleee. I do my laundry at the laundromat so the fact that I do not have to luge around a big bottle of detergent is amazing! Also there is no chance of me making an embarrassing mess. It is so simple and my clothes always come out clean. I even wash my clothes in cold water. Only downside is the packet design. The top doesn’t tear away open cleanly so you’re better off using scissors or a knife. When you squeeze open the pouch to remove the strips, be careful they don’t slip out of the bottom of the pouch.

What a great way to do away with large plastic bottles, plastic bags, and plastic scoops. These laundry strips dissolve quickly and easily in water. They don’t leave a powder-detergent residue on clothes and they do a great job. For small loads, you can tear one strip in half. Very happy with this product!!!
