This brush was a little smaller than I expected when I received it, but that’s not a problem. So far the bristles have held up after three months and only show minimal ware (and my bf likes to take it to town on the pots and pans!). Good quality for a decent price.

Comfortable to hold and the bristles are strong and clean well. I would prefer it without the leather strap though.

Strong bristles and a sturdy long handle make this brush great for scrubbing pans and the sink. I love that it is plastic free!

I know this is a dish brush, but… I was digging for a sustainable brush option for getting into the nooks and crannies of my sinks and shower. This brush works perfectly! It’s easy to hold thanks to the handle, and I love that it’s compostable at the end of its life. There have been a few reviews of molding on this brush, but I have not had any experience with that after a little more than a month of use.

Almost immediately mold began growing on the dish brush. I’ve seen mention of the brush being oiled – the one we received was NOT oiled, and was therefore raw wood permeable and susceptible to mold growth. I have tried scrubbing and even sanding down the brush, but the mold has penetrated the wood. I’m not happy with this purchase.

I like this a lot. Comforatable to hold, works well. I wish these brushes would last longer, but I understand that’s probably asking too much. That’s why I just ordered 2 more.

I love the wooden handle, it is easy to hold. I know it’s for dishes, but I needed a scrub brush for cleaning my shower, and so far this is working really well.

This is the first natural fiber dish brush I have ever bought. I wish I had been introduced to this type of product sooner! It works well and I don’t have to apply very much pressure to clean my dishes. The bristle stiffness seems great to me. I’ve been using it for a week now and the bristles have held their shape and stiffness. When I am not using it, I store it in a cup that is placed by the window so the sunlight helps dry it out too. My pots and pans are fairly new and have a non-stick surfaces, so food doesn’t stick so intensely to them maybe as others experience.

We use sponges for most dish washing, but for some pans that are a little tougher, we like using a dish brush. I absolutely love the shape, size, and feeling of this brush. Honestly, I have had no issue with the bristle strength, but my husband wishes it was stiffer. So if you are looking for a super stiff brush, this isn’t it. However, I find it works just fine for 90% of the dishes that need washed.

Question
Colby Seeley –
How long does this product last? And once finish will it decompose in a compost bin or garden?
(0) (0) Watch Unwatch
EarthHero –
Hi, Colby! This brush is sturdy and built to last. The length of time the bristles last depends on how often it is used! When it is time for a new one, we love that this brush is biodegradable and will break down similarly to a stick outside would. How quickly it biodegrades depends on the temperature, vitality of the soil, and many other factors!

Question
Lindsay –
Can someone please tell me if that hanging strap for the brush is made out of animal leather? If so that is quite disappointing, and not very eco friendly or green of the company that makes it since the leather industry is not only horrible for the animals , but also for the people near the facility and the earth. I’ve noticed a few other products on this website with leather and animal derived materials. I do hope you can move away from that at some point.

I like this brush and use it in addition to the Bubble Up Dish Brush. This one has softer bristles and the reach is nice. The only reason I give is 4 stars is because the wood’s “finish” changes appearance after the very first use. The other brush stays nice and shiny, but this one doesn’t

Like the way the way this brush feels and in my hand and how it cleans the dishes. Smaller than I thought it was going to be but I love that fact.

Love the way this brush looks. No more stinky sponges for me! I gave it four stars because the bristles could be stronger. It’s not the best for baked or dried on food clean-up but I just soak my pans and then it works just fine.

I know this brush is toted as a dish brush but I’ve been also using it for a shower brush. Works a treat in both aspects. Good for getting into the nooks and crannies of dishes and my backside. Only downside I wish the wood was more smooth. Mine wasn’t oiled or smoothed so its a bit rough in my hand but doesn’t detract from how awesome it is. will not be going back for plastic versions for sure.
