The average school in America will use close to 250,000 pieces of paper each year, with almost 4 billion trees cut down annually across the globe to support this industry. Onyx and Green is breaking this cycle of waste, not only with their unique paper products made from low-impact sugarcane and upcycled construction waste, but with an entire line of school and office supplies. From backpacks, to pens, to even rubber bands and calculators, they infuse creativity and sustainability into the designs of all their products. With consistency in their values and transparency in their production, materials, and values, Onyx and Green is helping to find new solutions in the office supply industry.

They peel off from normal paper on their own. It’s a shame.

These are like conventional sticky notes, but made with recycled paper!

I’d been wanting a recycled paper sticky note; I live by them but hate that they’re not eco-friendly and can’t be recycled. These stay sticky without the guilt.

Pretty simple basic sticky notes. The colors are pretty but pale enough so that you can see what your writing. The sticky strip is not very strong but does the job of holding in place where I put it. I appreciate that it is recycled eco freindly paper. I like the four pack but hope they will change the plastic packaging in the future. A must have for any note taker!

Bought these along with many other items for a Congratulations You’re Going to College! for my niece. She loves them and especially that they’re earth friendly.

The sticky notes are not sticky enough to be removed from one location and adhered to another. For me it defeats the purpose of sticky notes, I need to be able to move them from place to place. Part of the issue is that the notes curl very easily when removed from the block. That with poor adhesive makes it close to impossible to stick to glass, my wall, or a whiteboard. The purple was also too dark for pencil or ballpoint pen. Those that use gel, felt tip, or sharpies will be fine.

I was worried these would not be as sticky as regular post-its, but they seem to be just as sturdy!

I wish it didn’t come in plastic packaging!!! That ruined an otherwise great product.

You know, I never thought about whether sticky notes were made from virgin paper or recycled content before but now I do because it’s the little changes that add up. Thanks EarthHero for making it easier to find products like this.
