The average school in America will use close to 250,000 pieces of paper each year, with almost 4 billion trees cut down annually across the globe to support this industry. Onyx and Green is breaking this cycle of waste, not only with their unique paper products made from low-impact sugarcane and upcycled construction waste, but with an entire line of school and office supplies. From backpacks, to pens, to even rubber bands and calculators, they infuse creativity and sustainability into the designs of all their products. With consistency in their values and transparency in their production, materials, and values, Onyx and Green is helping to find new solutions in the office supply industry.

1 of the 2 first items i bought here for my son to use for school. So far I love it, it’s very soft and great quality.

Was rather skeptical about the product at first and decided to give it a shot; so far, the mouse has been really great! I like that there’s a compartment for the usb receiver which is really handy so as to not loose it. The buttons aren’t stiff either which was something I was worried about. I can only say that I wish that there was an “off” switch and as someone has mentioned, the battery compartment is a tad uneven, so sticking in batteries feels precarious.

This is a cool mouse, and so far seems pretty nice, however a couple things could be improved. There is no off switch. It’s supposed to cut off after 10 minutes of not being used, but when I put it in my laptop bag it turns itself on and uses more battery power than necessary. Also the battery slot wasn’t manufactured evenly so one battery goes in fine, but the other has to be pushed very hard to get it in place properly. Made me a little nervous putting that much strain on something made of wood…

Hey Lindsay,
This mouse is technically designed to be compatible with Windows products, but we’ve asked around and have heard it works great with Mac products as well!

Question
Whitney Gray –
Does this run off batteries? Or can it be charged theough usb?

Admin EarthHero –
Hey Whitney — this bamboo mouse does run on batteries. If left idle, the mouse turns itself off after 10 minutes, which helps the batteries last as long as possible! Thank you for your question!

Very comfortable when using and doesn’t take up a lot of space. Also very pleasing to the eye!
