Plastic Bank Partner
This brand works with Plastic Bank to measure, reduce, and offset their plastic usage by funding recycling and ocean cleanup efforts in underdeveloped communities around the world. This means that in addition to helping clean up our oceans, they’re also investing in recycling infrastructure in developing nations. A brand’s partnership with Plastic Bank involves offsetting various amounts of their plastic usage, from partial, to full (plastic neutral) or even offsetting more plastic than they produce (plastic negative).
B Corp
The B Lab is a third-party, non-profit organization that certifies companies as socially and environmentally responsible. B Corps are businesses that go above and beyond traditional business models and aim to create positive change in the world through their practices. These companies must meet rigorous transparency and accountablity standards, while doing what is best for people and the environment.
BPA Free
Products that are labeled as BPA free do not contain Bisphenol A, a chemical commonly found in plastic products. Studies on BPA exposure have shown that high levels of BPA could lead to hormone disruption, effects on behavior and brain function, reproductive problems, breast cancer, heart disease, infertility, and more.
Recycled Plastic
Recycled plastic utilizes salvaged post-industrial plastic scraps and post-consumer products such as water bottles and other plastic containers, and transforms them into new products. The containers are sorted, crushed, and then heated to form resins, which are liquid plastics that can harden into new shapes. These resins can be molded and used to create anything from carpet to outdoor furniture. Recycling plastic lowers the amount of petroleum extracted and the production of greenhouse gasses associated with first-time plastic production. Plus, by using these existing materials, we’re benefiting from the original energy and resources spent to create them in the first place, while diverting waste from the landfill.
Need something a little stronger than your average dish sponge? Look no further. Full Circle's "Neat Nut" Walnut Shell Scour Pads use the natural texture of walnuts to provide a powerful clean–while staying delicate enough for use on all surfaces. This three pack of sponges scrubs and cleans any surface without scratching and creates less waste at the end of its life. **While these sponges do contain real walnut shells, they will not cause a reaction for those with nut allergies.

Really good, especially for the price. They’re rough enough to get rid of baked-on food, but gentle enough to use on my non-stick pans. and they don’t leave my hands rough and sore, like a metal scrubber would.

I bought these at the start of my journey to find a new sponge alternative. They were a good option to get my partner on board, but ultimately they were just ok. They didn’t foam up at all, and I ended up using more soap than I usually would because it felt like I was washing my dishes with dirty soap/water.

Hi there! These sponges are manufactured responsibly in China. Full Circle Home is a certified B Corp, meaning they’re committed to upholding the highest social and environmental safety protocols. One of the reasons we love them (and these sponges)!

If you’re just getting into low waste/zero waste living I think these are good option. They work similar to regular sponges (although they are thinner). Just like others have said they are not fully compostable at end of life as they contain plastic. Otherwise a solid choice for cleaning.

Don’t use this for scrubbing hard stuff, they fall apart easily.
Overall, pretty good! They fall apart relatively quickly, but you’re suppose to change them often anyway. Honestly, use a brush if you can. These are good for cleaning small and easy things.

I loved them for scrubbing my bathroom. But sadly didn’t notice they contained plastic until after I purchased.. wont b buying them again. I’ll stick with the compostable brushes next time.

Maybe I just burn things on the bottoms of pans more often than your average person, but this didn’t hold up super well for me when scrubbing hardcore dishes when compared to disposable sponges, which make it through my dishes at least 3 times before falling apart. If you’ve got relatively mild dishes these would probably do really well for you, though. They definitely don’t scratch!

These have done a good job of cleaning, they last a long time, and I haven’t had any issues with them scratching things. It is unfortunate that I have to throw them away when I’m done with them.

These are amazing and replace normal sponges easily. They do no scratch . It is how ever a little misleading that they are not compostable and contain recycled plastic. Disclosing that would he helpful to buyers and informing people on how to recycle these (if possible) would also be helpful.

Hi Staci! So happy you’re loving these so far. We do mention that these scrubbers are made with recycled plastic in the “Sustainability Features” below the product. Unfortunately, because they’re mixed with walnut shells, these scrubbers will have to be thrown away when you’re finished with them. A great compostable alternative are these loofahs, though!

This scrub works incredibly. It is durable, and gets rid of grime easily. It also dries quickly, making it easier for storage after using it.

Hi Grace — Unfortunately, while these are made with actual walnut shells, they are also mixed with recycled plastic for ultimate scrubbing power.
