Hi Olivia! These dishcloths are able to be tossed right into your washing machine! For the first few washes, we recommend washing with like colors.

Hi there, we’ve not found that they leave any trace behind when used to dry. The cotton weave is breathable and dries quickly!

    Great for Multipurpose Use

    mmfields2016 (verified owner)

The natural colors are absolutely beautiful, but be careful if you use them while washing dishes. I primarily use these to wash dishes and under hot water for prolonged periods of time it does cause the colors to fade because they are dyed using natural resources. They absorb water very well, retain soap, and dry out very quickly. They are very thin compared to standard dish cloths, but they are much softer on your hands and still get the job done.

    Soak Up Water Well

    Claire (verified owner)

I purchased these to wipe down my counters especially the sink area after washing dishes and they work very well. I don’t use cloths usually to wash dishes so I can’t comment on that really, they do seem a little thin for that purpose but they work great for what I was looking for. I live in a very moist area and my cotton crocheted dish cloths are actually too thick for this purpose because they hold water for too long and get very stinky. These dried very fast after being fully soaked in water and so far have not developed any smells :). They are also beautiful. The one dyed with turmeric did release a little color when I was ringing hot water out of it the first time I used it but I did not have any problem with it staining other clothes in the laundry even though I had whites in the washer too.

    Makes great napkins!

    lily.limin (verified owner)

Agree w Julia that they are such pretty colors. I can’t really see using these as dish clothes as they are both too thin and small for a dish cloth though they make great napkins!

Hi Lucy! Our products are made in many different places. You can be assured that if it’s on the site, it has been responsibly and ethically produced! These dishcloths are responsibly created in China- Full Circle is focused on showing that “made in China” and the idea of environmental responsibility aren’t mutually exclusive ideas. We love their products for long-lasting, eco-friendly alternatives! If you have any questions about where another product is made, please reach out to hello@earthhero.com!

    Good, but I wouldn't rebuy

    Julia (verified owner)

These are nice dish cloths and such pretty colours! If you’re buying dish cloths for the first time, and you have plenty of money to spend — go for these!
But if you already own dish cloths, they’re just stained or hand-me-downs, just keep using those. It’s better for the environment, better for your wallet, and these ones are going to get stained and look a little dingy over time too.
