BPA Free
Products that are labeled as BPA free do not contain Bisphenol A, a chemical commonly found in plastic products. Studies on BPA exposure have shown that high levels of BPA could lead to hormone disruption, effects on behavior and brain function, reproductive problems, breast cancer, heart disease, infertility, and more.
Bamboo
As a member of the grass family, bamboo is one of the fastest growing plants on earth. It requires no irrigation, pesticides or fertilizers to grow, and can be harvested within 3-5 years, as compared to approximately 30+ years for traditional hardwoods. Bamboo is extremely adaptable and produces more oxygen per acre than large tree species, while using a fraction of the water to grow. Its durable and lightweight qualities make bamboo a great alternative for hard wood products!
Recycled Plastic
Recycled plastic utilizes salvaged post-industrial plastic scraps and post-consumer products such as water bottles and other plastic containers, and transforms them into new products. The containers are sorted, crushed, and then heated to form resins, which are liquid plastics that can harden into new shapes. These resins can be molded and used to create anything from carpet to outdoor furniture. Recycling plastic lowers the amount of petroleum extracted and the production of greenhouse gasses associated with first-time plastic production. Plus, by using these existing materials, we’re benefiting from the original energy and resources spent to create them in the first place, while diverting waste from the landfill.
Small but mighty, the Bubble Up Dish Brush from Full Circle Home makes scrubbing simple by creating lush suds with ease. With an ergonomic bamboo handle that comfortably fits in the palm of your hand, this eco-friendly dish brush uses strong recycled plastic bristles to take down grease, grit, and grime anywhere in your home. From Certified B Corp Company Full Circle Home, this high-quality, BPA-free dish brush is the perfect addition to your non-toxic kitchen.

Took a little to get used to but I love it and have bought multiple now. Lasts a long time compared to a standard sponge and gets the job done great! Happy that the bristles are at least made with recycled materials but it would be great to compost the whole thing–then it would be perfect!

Just what I was looking for. Mostly I use a long-handled dish brush when dishwashing, but sometimes it’s good to have this kind of scrubber to really get in the crevices of pots and pans. With it, soap lathers well.

Takes a little getting used to this method, but once you do I think anyone who is interested in being environment friendly would choose this option.

Works great for removing stuck-on food from more delicate dishes that I can’t use steel wool to clean.

This is my second time purchasing this brush. I couldn’t be happier with it. It is exactly the right size to fit inside my mugs and storage containers. It holds up well and is thoughtfully made

It looks good on the sink and seems to be a good scrub but my issue is all the food gets stuck up there and no way of getting it out and just seems dirty cleaning with old food

The design makes it very comfortable to hold in my hand while using it. Also, the bristles are quite durable, so they clean up some of the items with more food residue effectively. I feel like this brush will be able to last quite a while, so nice to know it won’t needs replacing right away.

Is easy to hold on to and use, is a really nice product. Bristles are really durable. I like it more than a scrubby sponge for most cases because it dries quickly and does not get as much stuff stuck in it, although it is harder to maneuver and get into small places than a sponge. Great product overall.

Works great for most things, except those that need a harder scrub. It works wonderfully with my Castile soap block and creates a nice lather.

Love this little brush! It fits perfectly in the palm of my hand and scrubbing is easy peasy. I use it paired with the Castile soap block that works great. Even though this product may last longer than the compostable version I wish there was a return to be recycled option.

For a long time I was using scrubbers in this shape that had more natural bristles and I felt like I was going through way too many of them to justify the full production of such a solid piece of equipment because the bristles were completely disintegrating with use after about 2-3 months. These that cannot be composted last me at least a year and I am actually collecting the wooden parts to repurpose as dresser door pulls.

Chelsea –
What do you do for end of life of this product?
(0) (0) Watch Unwatch
EarthHero (verified owner) –
Hi Chelsea! This product, after months of use, must be thrown in the garbage when it can no longer be used. Full Circle makes wonderful, sturdy objects that reduce the need for single-use! For a compostable option, we love these scrubbers!

Question
Cindy –
How often do I need to replace this brush?
(0) (0) Watch Unwatch
EarthHero (verified owner) –
Hi Cindy! You’ll know when to replace this brush when the bristles look like they’re bent or not cleaning as well as they usually do. With typical use, this is usually every few months!

Recently got rid of our sponges and replaced them with this. Not only is it cleaner, but it’s made scrubbing easier by a mile. The only thing I haven’t been able to make it work for is tall glasses and water bottles. Will be picking up a bottle brush to accompany it.

Love this brush to scrub my dishes and sink, plus it’s gentle enough that I don’t worry too much about it scratching anything–but I would still be careful with nonstick coated pans. I didn’t realize that the bristles were made of recycled plastic when I bought it. I love the shape and size but wish I could replace the bristles with something compostable. That aside–great product!

I like that there’s no handle so I can fit the brush in small places if need be. I also have small hands and the brush fits perfectly and isn’t large/or clunky to hold. Nice brush!

I had tried using recycled sponges before buying this brush, but they always left little strands all over my dishes. I was worried that it would be more difficult to clean inside of mugs and smaller dishes without a sponge but this brush is the perfect size to really get in the nooks and crannies of anything. Super happy with my purchase.

I love this brush and imagine I will be using it for many years to come. It is very useful for pots, pans, bowls, plates, and other wide-opened objects. However it does not work well for cups and jars. I would like it if they made a brush like this that had bristles on multiples sides, for easier scrubbing of those narrower items.
