Organic Wool
Organic wool presents less harm than conventional wool production, as both the feed and forage for the sheep must be organic, and no pesticides or insecticides can be used to treat the sheep. Organic wool can be harvested yearly without harming the sheep, and does not involve toxic “sheep dips” where farmers drench the sheep in harmful chemicals. Organically raised sheep are housed in ways that prevent overgrazing, and are not dependent on antibiotics or other drugs, as they live in healthy conditions. Wool is highly absorbent, so it requires little water to dye the finished fabrics. Wool is odor resistant, so you can get away with skipping washes (and saving water!), plus when wool is untreated it’s biodegradable.

I love having these for the dryer. They can speed up wash time; because they help break up the clothes. I got them as a gift around December, I use them weekly and would definitely recommend them. <3

Been using for a few months and definitely recommend. They hold up great, and serve their purpose well in cutting down dry time. I haven’t tried to add a scent to them yet, but plan to soon!

I started using dryer balls about a year ago and they really help things dry more quickly. Unfortunately, the ones I had purchased fell apart after a short time of using. These are definitely made much better and I just love them!

I typically have to dry my laundry for 110 minutes but these cut the dry time down to 70 minutes. They are a little loud but I don’t mind. I plan to buy more and gift them to friends and family!

I have noticed a difference with a shortened drying time with these. I think they definitely help. They are a little loud, but it is worth the trade off.

Got 2 sets of these about a year ago and have been using them ever since. Cuts time off of drying so saves electricity (and quarters, if you have to use the laundromat). I use them when I wash towels, sheets, and my boyfriend’s clothes (I hang dry mine). They really help avoid tangling so rarely have to take some items out and then run the dryer longer. After a year still looking great, and I love that when I do need to get new ones way in the future that these can be composted (will probably let my dog play with them before composting, she’s always eyeing them like I’m keeping toys away from her)

I like these. I have a gas dryer, and it winds everything into a tight ball, and these wool balls help with that problem. They are kind of noisy, but not too bad.

I’ve been eyeing wool dryer balls for a while, and decided to take the plunge!
I LOVE how the product is sourced, the responsibility taken to create them, and how it empowers Nepalese artisans who make them. These 6 balls in a pack work perfectly in my medium to large laundry loads to get my clothes dryer faster, AND my clothes are fluffier!
It has a slight sheep smell to them, but no, it’s not strong, and it doesn’t transfer to my clothes. You can always add essential oil drops to them if you want to. There are much larger ones on the market, but from what I understand, those can get noisy in the dryer. These WORK so well, and are durable. I know they’re going to last me a long time, and best thing is… I no longer need to buy dryer sheets!

I don’t typically buy non-vegan zero waste products of this kind, but after reading about the company and how they pay their workers/source their materials, I just had to get them. They work super well and are very durable.

These definitely reduce the static in my laundry, which is impressive given how dry it is where I live all the time. I can’t tell if they make my laundry dry faster or not, because I always let it run the full “delicate” cycle on low heat and I’ve never had a problem with that drying even jeans. Probably the dry climate, again.
They do increase the noise of the dryer a bit as the balls tumble around, but it isn’t noticeable to me outside of the laundry room, so it isn’t a big deal. The only actual problem that I have with them is that my cats desperately want to play with them. They’re used to wool balls being toys, so they are not convinced that they shouldn’t play with these ones.

I’m a college student in my first apartment, and I can’t believe I waited so long to use these. I use an old machine in my building that usually takes two tries to dry, and this just made it so I don’t have to pay to dry my clothes twice. To give it a nice smell, like dryer sheets would, I add a couple drops of my favorite essential oils to the dryer balls and it leaves all my clothes smelling wonderful.

They work really well. They seem really durable too which I was sort of worried about. They honestly work better than regular dryer sheets in my opinion. I’m not sure if they reduce static, but that’s really only a problem in the winter.

I haven’t noticed on drying time cuts, but really that’s only because I use the dryer before bed and let them dry as I sleep. I can definitely attest to them softening the fabric, tho. I love these and I use them every time.

I don’t do laundry very often and loathe doing it because I’m in an apartment building and yea…I don’t have to say much else. Anyway, these really do hold up to what they say about drying your clothes in less time. Dryers in my building go for 38 min a clip and I was able to dry a load of sheets with a heavy wool blanket using three balls and a dryer of t-shirts and undies using 3 balls. Both dryers on low. The t-shirts load was 95% dry. Typically, I’d do a 76 min dry on shirts and others loads and this mostly did it in half the time. My only real “complaint” is that I put 10 drops on essential oil on the balls immediately before drying and my clothes didn’t smell like lavender =/ womp womp. Whatever. I’m still happy to have gotten these. I stopped using dryer sheets years ago because I thought it a waste of money before I thought about the environmental impact. Now that I’m more eco-conscious, I’m glad I got these because they are not only helping cut energy use but they’re cutting back on static AND I’m not wasting any money. Big thumbs up. Highly recommend.

I had two plastic dryer balls for a long time, and decided to give these a try….well! I absolutely love them. love the fact there are six of them. I use four at a time and they make my clothes dry in half the time saving in electricity and money. They come in a cute bag to put them away when not in use and comes with clear instructions. I will definitely will buy again when there get all used up. Very happy with this purchase!

Love these!! Have been using them for a few weeks now. They’re much quieter than the tennis balls I was using before. I just read in a review that someone added scented oil, I’m excited to try that.

Great that these come in larger sets than some brands. They work much better with more. Plus there is always one that gets lost somewhere in the clean clothes.

I toss just three balls in the dryer with my clothes and it did speed up the drying process. I use a hybrid method so I only put my clothes in the dryer for a few minutes and then hang it so it can finish drying but once I started using the dryer balls there’s only a few pieces of clothing that still need to be hanged to dry.
