Often times when getting started to go green you don’t know where to start – this eliminates that struggle! Also great gifts to help friends or family get started too.

I love the soap nuts! They’re so cute! They clean well and leave a nice (light) scent on my clothes. They can be used to handwash your clothes as well if you have any delicate clothing like bras.
Btw I noticed another reviewer wasn’t too happy with the Cora Ball because it’s plastic, but it’s made of 100% recycled materials and recyclable.
As for the wool balls, for some reason I always forget to put them in the dryer, so that’s the only thing I can’t advocate for yet.

This set is the perfect combo to what I needed and things I wanted to try (the nuts). Highly recommend.

Question
Amber Atwood –
I’m assuming since this kit is eco friendly that it is most definitely safe for infant washes?

EarthHero –
Hi Amber! These items are natural, non-toxic, and totally safe for babies 🙂 We also have these detergents that are specifically made for babies!

I was pretty skeptical about switching my entire laundry routine with this kit but so far I have enjoyed it! Everything comes out just as clean and stain free as it had with regular laundry detergent. It’s great not having to lug a big plastic container of detergent to the laundry room at my apartments, just a couple small light bags of berries! I just wish there was something in this kit to help with static! Overall I love this low waste alternative!

All products work amazingly. I love the soap berries.
I am not sure about the cora ball, I haven’t seen anything on it to clean out, but I keep throwing it in just in case it is doing something. My only gripe about it is that IT IS PLASTIC… so using one environmentally toxic product to take care of another?!? This is why I gave it 4 stars, it isn’t really zero waste in the manufacturing of the cora ball, and when the cora ball breaks down and needs to be thrown out. My hope is that it can be recycled, perhaps through TerraCycle.

This kit is the perfect complete starter set for my family as we work to create less waste and become more conscious consumers. Plus, my kids are fascinated by the science of soap nuts, and anything that gets them interested in doing their laundry is a win!

this is such a great way to get all the laundry products you need to shift to more sustainable methods! i LOVE the eco nuts. they last so long and really do clean. i hate scented laundry detergent so i love using these because they literally just clean, no extra scents of any kind.
the dryer ball is large, and kinda noisy! but it seems to work super well and hasn’t shown any wear in the few months we’ve had it.
the cora ball helps me feel better about washing synthetic materials, but also helps trap some dog hair as well!

As someone that is trying to be more sustainable and somewhat new to this life style, this kit is perfect (especially for the cost). I have tried a few loads now and the econuts have been great! There is no scent, did fine with whites and it gets rid of smells (from both pet and human). The wool ball has been great for drying my clothes. I live in an apartment and there is only one dryer that is older (gets the job done though). Before, it would sometimes take 1.5 times to dry my clothes but with the wool ball it makes a difference. I have seen youtube videos of where people add essential oils to the wool ball to get scent to clothes but I have not tried that as I am not sure how long it would take the scent to get out of the ball. The stain stick I have only used once on an old stain and it did help. The cora ball puts my mind at ease for the microfibers. In short, I would highly recommend this product.

The stain stick is amazing! With 3 kids, it’s getting its use.
The soap nuts, I’ve only used once, but everything seems clean.
I’ve been using laundry balls for awhile, but these are bigger than my other brand 🙂
I’m not sure the cora ball is working. I have 2 lab/huskies, and I shed a lot myself, but I’m not seeing much in it. There’s still a ton in my dryer catcher after every load.
Overall, I appreciate the bundle though

Hi, Hope! We love our laundry bundles and are happy to hear you’re finding use out of yours! The Cora Ball is for catching microfibers, not hair or lint, so that may be why you’re not seeing a lot of build-up! Microfibers are even smaller than these tiny pieces, even smaller than the dot of a pen, which is what makes them so dangerous to humans and aquatic life! This also explains why it usually takes a while for some of the fibers to visibly attach to the ball- they’re there even if you can’t see them! 🙂

I am allergic to a lot of fabric softeners so haven’t used any in a decade and I’m surprised how soft my clothes are with the wool balls. It takes a little getting used to to quit putting detergent in the laundry – I just take my clothes out and leave the soap nuts and Cora ball in there for the next load which is weird. I really like the light scent that gets left behind on my clothes – I am sensitive to smell and it’s so light and just clean smelling. I haven’t had to use the stain stick yet but so far even my workout clothes come out soft and smelling good.

I have been using the non toxic laundry bundle for a couple weeks now and I am really enjoying it. My clothes feel softer. There is no sent so I add essential oils to the dryer balls to give my clothes a nice sent. The only downfall is that it has a hard time getting rid of grease and the smell of diesel fuel (but that’s hard for any non toxic detergent.)

I love the laundry bundle. Within an our of receiving the kit, I spilled mustard all over my white shirt. The stain stick and soap nuts easily removed the stain. Will definitely purchase again.

Question
Jane Workhoven –
I have an HE top loading washing machine. Will the soap nuts work well in my machine? I saw the comment that they may not work as well in an HE front loader. I would love to try these, if they would be effective.

EarthHero –
Hi Jane! These should work just fine in an HE top-loading machine. Just add the soap nuts to the included cotton baggy and toss in with your laundry! Washing on a warm water cycle helps to release the naturally occurring saponin, but it’s not imperative. 🙂

This is my first time getting eco friendly items for laundry. While the transition itself to being eco friendly is a fun journey, what’s even more fun and enjoyable is when the items you receive look exactly like the ones you saw in the picture. From everyone else’s review, it seems like these eco friendly versions still work effectively for laundry. I’ll need to try it. For now, my mom does my laundry.

Absolutely in love with these products. The stain stick works well so far. The econuts get things clean and keep them soft. I even forgot to add softener one day (still using up some products as to not waste), and it still made everything smell fresh. I can actually tell a difference with the wool balls. We can do the less dry option on our dryer now with clothes and eco with our towels. (Before it was “more dry” at least once and sometimes twice with towels.)
