I read a lot of the reviews before trying this product. I was willing to deal with some shortcomings in exchange for freedom from single use plastic waste. However, I haven’t noticed any compromises. Mind you, I wash smaller loads of laundry and usually use a warm rinse so maybe one or both of those are why I’m not noticing the residues or stiffness others have reported. I also haven’t had the opportunity to wash any heavily soiled garments yet. If my opinion of this product changes with longer term use, I’ll try to update you!

I’ve been looking for an eco-friendly alternative to liquid detergent for a while and am glad to have had a positive experience with Dropps, which I first heard about from Shelbizlee on YouTube. I haven’t had any problem using these on a cold wash in my HE front load washer. (I’ve heard some folks caution that the packets don’t dissolve in cold water but that hasn’t been my experience so far–fingers crossed!)

We bought these because my partner missed the stronger scents from more wasteful detergents and we love it! Our clothes smell super nice, even after they come out of the dryer – but it’s not too overwhelming. We have noticed a couple of times that her clothes come out with a little stain (it looks like it might be from the detergent) but we’re going to try and rectify this by starting the wash and throwing the pod in before putting our clothes in. Otherwise we love it, and the smell is amazing

I initially purchased the Dropps sensitive skin detergent pods because I feared irritation from these based on a few reviews. I am happy to report that after trying these pods as well, there was no irritation whatsoever! Tried these when one of my fave YouTubers mentioned it on a video. Decided to try them out and really love that there is no plastic in the product or its packaging. Have read reviews that they do not dissolve consistently but I have not had that problem…they dissolve every time. The scent is not overpowering and I must say my sensitive skin does seem to like this detergent better than all other brands I’ve tried. Definitely recommend!
