BPA Free

Products that are labeled as BPA free do not contain Bisphenol A, a chemical commonly found in plastic products. Studies on BPA exposure have shown that high levels of BPA could lead to hormone disruption, effects on behavior and brain function, reproductive problems, breast cancer, heart disease, infertility, and more.

B Corp

The B Lab is a third-party, non-profit organization that certifies companies as socially and environmentally responsible. B Corps are businesses that go above and beyond traditional business models and aim to create positive change in the world through their practices. These companies must meet rigorous transparency and accountablity standards, while doing what is best for people and the environment.

Bamboo

As a member of the grass family, bamboo is one of the fastest growing plants on earth. It requires no irrigation, pesticides or fertilizers to grow, and can be harvested within 3-5 years, as compared to approximately 30+ years for traditional hardwoods. Bamboo is extremely adaptable and produces more oxygen per acre than large tree species, while using a fraction of the water to grow. Its durable and lightweight qualities make bamboo a great alternative for hard wood products!

Recycled Plastic

Recycled plastic utilizes salvaged post-industrial plastic scraps and post-consumer products such as water bottles and other plastic containers, and transforms them into new products. The containers are sorted, crushed, and then heated to form resins, which are liquid plastics that can harden into new shapes. These resins can be molded and used to create anything from carpet to outdoor furniture. Recycling plastic lowers the amount of petroleum extracted and the production of greenhouse gasses associated with first-time plastic production. Plus, by using these existing materials, we’re benefiting from the original energy and resources spent to create them in the first place, while diverting waste from the landfill.

The Be Good Full Circle Dish Brush is an effective and durable brush for any kitchen! With an easy-to-grip bamboo handle and tough bristles made from recycled plastic, this brush is the environmentally-responsible solution to messy dishes. It’s easy to be good with this little helper leading the charge!

Really liking this brush so far. It is getting my dishes clean and is sturdy. I also like that the head has a little part where you can scrape hard to get off bits. I’m hoping it lasts for awhile! I also wish the head was replaceable like some of the other folks have said.

    Wish head was replaceable

    RADOUGHERTY7 (verified owner)

Until recently I didn’t have a dishwasher and this was all I used for all my dishes. It works great at scrubbing, is ergonomic and gets all the stuff, I like that the plastic part has a flat scrape-y part to get stuck on grime. I know the handle can be taken off and composted but I wish the head was replaceable like the other dish brushes. I think the head lasted a fair amount of time and I will reorder. I have a dishwasher now so I probably won’t have to replace as often.

Worked great, but didnt last as long as I would have hoped

    amleri15 (verified owner)

This brush works super great! I found that it was really comfortable to use and the bristles were tough enough to actually clean stuff. The only thing was that the bristles stained easily and it just got dirty over time and stopped “bouncing back” when I disinfected and cleaned it. Also, after just a month or two the bristles became pretty splayed out. In the end, I was trying to get the water out and tapped it on the edge of my sink and the head of the brush broke off. So, it worked great, but wore out quickly.

    Nicest looking sponge ever!

    gearandgo (verified owner)

I know we aren’t going for aesthetics, but this wins points if we were. I hung it on a nail near my sink and have been loving the no-mess, strong bristles for scrubbing. I can’t speak to durability yet, but it seems it will last awhile.

I replaced our sponges and old worn out scrubbed with this product, and I’m in love! The bristles are very sturdy and hold up to even the toughest stick on food. The handle is well crafted and comfortable to hold through a sink full of dishes. Even my picky husband approves. Great job!

    Great for scrubbing dishes

    macaronimagpie (verified owner)

I switched to using this dish brush instead of a sponge and I’ve liked it so far. It looks nice on the counter and it does a good job of scrubbing the dishes. The scrapper end is especially useful.

The biggest drawbacks are the size and the disposability. I can’t always get this brush into small glasses because it’s too bulky. I also really don’t like that I’m going to have to throw it away once I’m done with it. It’s clearly long lasting, and so far I’ve been using it daily for four months and it’s still in good shape, so much better than the sponges I used to use. I would like a plastic free alternative, however.

Bristles too stiff; hard to use

    Lisa Cox (verified owner)

I was disappointed with this brush. I thought finally I can get something that’s not all plastic.
But the bristles are way too stiff, which means I have to press too hard to get the food off, therefore wearing out my arm after a couple dishes. Also the head of the brush is too big to get to the bottom of any cup… and there are no bristles to reach the corners of the bottom of the cup so …. I guess I’m going back to bed bath and beyond to get my usual plastic brush 🙁
Also I don’t want to purchase a bottle brush because I don’t want two brushes. I already got the produce washing brush, which, is wonderful on the other hand. It’s softer and more natural material. I wished they had made this brush with those bristles! Bummed.

Hey Lisa! Sorry you’re not loving this dish brush! You may want to check out these plastic-free brush and scrubber options. This Coconut Fiber Dish Brush is also quite stiff, but it is super great for removing leftover food on pots, pans, bowls, etc. Plus, the head can be replaced! Another option is a Copper Scouring Pad. Great for getting into cups or scrubbing burnt food off and away!

What is it’s end of life? I’m assuming the bristles and plastic head cannot be recycled.

Hi Jennifer! While this brush is built to last a very long time, when it is finally time to let it go, its end of life will be the landfill. For an entirely plastic-free brush option, we love Redecker!

  13. megbrynne

    Better than the Green One

    megbrynne (verified owner)

I love this dish brush. The white is sleek and blends into the kitchen sink items so it doesn’t create a cleaning eyesore. the scraper at tip is useful and sturdy and the bristles hold their shape. small enough to maneuver and also long enough handle to keep your hands out of the pots etc. i like this version better than the green and replaceable head slash soap handle filler version. no need for those edits as they are not super effective and only create spaces for mold to grow etc. this brush is great.

I bought one for my office and everyone loves it..so much nicer than having to handle a sponge. I’ve given them as stocking stuffer gifts and they are always appreciated.
