The big and small size work great for the kitchen recycling and bathroom cans, respectively. The medium size is better for laundry or something. Would buy again!

This is a great plastic trash bag replacement. Be sure to wash at least once a week.

Works great for my recycle bin (normal 13 gallon trash can) as a way to have a removable liner to wash/easily clean but without plastic!

I bought this product to reduce my dependence on single use plastics. Fits my 13 gal trash can perfectly.

I also purchased this for picking up litter on the go, it comes with a little tie that keeps it compact. Great to not have to try to juggle all of the gross trash I come across.

Resistant? Maybe. I got this small bag to keep in my backpack for picking up found trash items. I put a tin can to recycle in it the first time I used it and it didn’t resist any of the liquid to me at least. I will absolutely continue to use it, possibly as a bathroom trash liner as other reviews have noted, but I was led somewhat astray by this claim unfortunately.

Will these liners work as a diaper pail liner for cloth diapers? Thanks!
(0) (0) Watch Unwatch
EarthHero –
Hi Stefanie! Great question – a reusable liner is fantastic for storing cloth diapers before laundry day. However, we actually have a liner made specifically for holding soiled diapers. It’s made from 100% recycled polyester and features a waterproof lining. Check it out, here!

Hi! Bagito has chosen to discontinue the size large – so the 5 pack has been discontinued. We truly apologize if this raises an inconvenience!

Hi…I’m looking for a liner for my indoor wicker recycle bin which is 27″ tall and 20″ round. Currently I use 30 Gallon bags. Will the Large fit my bin and if I buy it will I get a 5 pack of Large or a 5 pack of mixed sizes if I specifically state Large? Thanks
(0) (0) Watch Unwatch
EarthHero –
Hi there! If you select “Large” you will receive one large bag. The 5 pack is a mixed pack, with two small, two medium, and one large! The Large (measuring 41″ tall, 33″ wide, 45 gallons) size will fit your wicker bin and is a great option to single-use garbage bags 🙂

I think this bag is fantastic! We try to keep food waste out of the trash but even if it accidentally goes in, the liner is so easy to wash and keep clean.

I use these bags for non-kitchen trash. It’s a good assortment of sizes, and works great for me. Would work really well as a travel laundry bag too.

Waste of my money, I now will have to attempt to sew these bags so that they will fit my waste baskets. The material is very silky which I do not like. I would prefer it to grab any materials I put into the waste basket. It is an excellent idea, because I do not have poisonous plastic in my apartment. I do not know what the material is made of for these recycled trash bags, though, so they may be made out of a toxic material. I guess I could sew my own recyclable trash bags myself, if I had better eyesight and a WILL to do this task.

Hi, Maya! We are so sorry that these trash bags aren’t working out for you. These liners are made of recycled polyester and have a smooth texture that is easy to clean if they get dirty during use! This product comes in a few different sizes- small, medium, large, and a multipack with a few of each- and most customers find that the small fit wonderfully inside a wastebasket. However, each bag’s measurements are found further on the page if you wanted to measure the bin beforehand. This may be a better option for what you’re looking to use them for! If the items are unused and in their original packaging, feel free to reach out to us at hello@earthhero.com to set up a return and try another size 🙂

Having plastic bags around solely for bathroom/bedroom bins was a bit of a pet peeve so while this doesn’t necessarily solve everything (i.e. me producing some form of waste) I love it. I ordered the small, which is actually bigger than I expected and plan to take it on camping trips in future.

I used to go through a plastic bag every week for my bedroom trash can, but now I just empty the reusable bag into the rest of the trash to save on plastic waste at every garbage day!

Question
Leah –
Are these water proof? If something wet was in my Kitchen trash would it prevent it from leaking through to my bin?
(0) (0) Watch Unwatch
EarthHero –
Hi Leah! These bags are on the thicker side and quite durable. However, they are not water-resistant and would likely allow any liquid to seep into the bin below. They make for a fantastic alternative to single-use plastic trash bags, particularly if you already compost and are able to keep organic matter out of the garbage!

Question
Jenn Hartwell –
So where do you put the trash after you collect it in this bag? I mean, how do you get the trash to the curbside pick up without a bag? Are you dumping it freely into your curbside tote for the weekly trash collection?
(0) (0) Watch Unwatch
EarthHero –
Hi Jenn! Great question. These reusable bags may not be the solution for curbside garbage pick-up (since you don’t want free-flying trash!), but we’ve found them extremely helpful for eliminating plastic liners for waste bins in the bathroom or bedroom. The large option is also great for lining a recycling bin, carrying laundry in, or even picking up leaves! There are so many ways to use these bags beyond just garbage collecting. We love ’em!

BEACHLIFE (verified owner) –
I would use plastic bags to line my trashcans in bathroom and bedrooms and since I now use my own bags to shop I needed a good replacement and this is definately it. Not sure about the large bag for the kitchen. I am afraid it’s not waterproof although I compost so not much water gets in the can really. We will see.

Hi Allyson! The large bag included in this 5 pk should fit this trash can. Here are the dimensions: 41″ tall, 33″ wide, 45 gallons.

They are made out of a strong material but do not seem like they would be water proof at all. Good for dry trash, which isnt a problem since any wet trash I would throw out is usually food scraps that need to be composted instead. Extremely versatile. I’m overall satisfied as they serve their purpose and encourage me to compost.

Excellent material and I love that there are several sizes. The smaller ones are great for bathroom trashcans or to keep in your car. They seem durable and easy to wash, as well.

At first I was intending to use the smaller liner sizes which work really well! And really not that difficult to clean. But the larger sizes came in handy too! I use to get a plastic bag to store my dirty clothes in during a trip, but the larger size bags have helped me stop doing that! I find that these are more than just trash can liners and I couldn’t be any happier.
