I liked this product a lot. It’s lightweight so it won’t add on a lot to price at check out like some of the cotton bags. I bought a multipack first with both the solid green and the mesh. I then bought more of the mesh. I personally prefer the mesh because it is see through and the clerk doesn’t have to open it up and look inside at check out. I also like the fact that it’s washable and can easily be rolled up into a neat little bundle to throw in my grocery bag.

Convenient to have around. I do wish it had a clip like the bagito grocery bags, however.

Title says it all–they’re great and easy to keep on hand for surprise farmer’s market trips, when that’s a thing again xD

These are FANTASTIC. I bought the mesh versions and carry them in my purse alongside a folded tote bag in case I happen to end up at the grocery store. So useful and especially great for Farmer’s Markets.

My cilantro and parsley would wilt quickly when I used organic cotton mesh bags. I originally thought the “solid” bags were a little less breathable- that they’d be more like plastic bags but they’re not. Now I see “breathable in the description”. That’s okay though. They wick out some of the moisture from freshly moistened produce but they still seem to keep my greens fresh enough to use within a few days. The lack of tare weight hasn’t been an issue since I usually use this for “quantity” produce instead of produce that needs to be weighed.

Question
Salem –
Do the bag’s tags have the tare weight on them?

EarthHero –
Hi, Salem! These bags do not have the tare weight listed on them, but there is a ‘snap’ portion on the side of the bag that you could write the tare weight on for easy reference 🙂

I bought the green bag (not mesh) for buying bulk flour and protein powder. Works perfectly!

The mesh bag works great for greens. They seem to last longer in the fridge. I use the darker bag for stuff like nuts and it is great.

Could these be used to wash delicates in the laundry?

Hello! Because this bag is made out of recycled plastic water bottles, we would recommend opting for a natural fiber version instead. We love this organic cotton mesh bag. It’s the perfect fit for delicates and it’s drawstring closure keeps them safe during the wash. Plus, it carries no risk of releasing microplastics (yay!).

Hi Barbara! These bags are great for lettuce storage. The mesh helps with airflow and any trapped moisture. 🙂

These bags are great for both produce and bulk grains (I’ve used mine for rolled oats so far). The mesh is very fine and the bag rolls up tightly so I can toss it in my purse. Good quality, completely satisfied!
