Painful but Effective

Using this product legitimately feels like rubbing your skin with highly coarse sandpaper. I realize exfoliating is never meant to be pleasant but I don't think it's supposed to hurt this much either.

Pros: smells great, has a nice 'cooling' effect (I assume to help with the burning from scraping your skin off), lathers well, sustainably packaged, definitely exfoliates.

Cons: very rough (no pun intended) to use.
