Fact: your dryer sheets might be ruining your clothes. While they're known for preventing static, they work by applying a coating of chemical fabric softeners to your clothes when the dryer is hot. The coating then bakes into the fabric, clogging the fibers of your clothes, and harming your health (and the health of the planet!) Eco Nuts does drying differently with their Dryer Balls: using the power of wool to naturally soften, fluff, and de-static your clothing! They work by lifting and separating clothes, allowing air to circulate–and can reduce drying time by up to 10-25%! To use: toss all four dryer balls into your dryer and let them tumble in every load.
Women Owned

Cruelty Free
Cruelty Free is a certification process through PETA that labels products that are not tested on animals. All companies that are included on PETA's cruelty-free list have signed a statement verifying that they don't use ingredients or create finished products that help conduct or pay for any tests on animals.

Safe and Fair Labor
We support safe and fair labor practices when producing sustainable products. This company cares for their workers by fostering a safe work environment and providing their employees with fair wage.

Sulfate Free
Sulfates are synthetic chemical ingredients commonly used in beauty products and household cleaners, like shampoos and dish soaps. You can usually identify sulfates in an ingredients list by looking out for the most common types: Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLC) and Sodium Laureth Sulfates (SLES). These chemicals, often derived from petroleum, are used to help form the “lather” we’re used to seeing in our beauty and cleaning products. When used in the shower or sink, these chemicals can flow through the pipes and into our waterways. Synthetic sulfates have been linked to allergic reactions, eye and skin irritation, and hair loss, and some studies suggest they contain carcinogenic ingredients.

Wool
Wool is a natural and renewable resource that can be harvested annually from sheep. Sheep are relatively low impact animals, but can overgraze land if not raised properly. Wool production can also be insecticide and water intensive, but the finished yarn is absorbent and requires little dye during processing. Untreated wool is biodegradable.

Eco Nuts

Nothing feels better than fresh, clean laundry. But what if the products you're using are actually dirty? Most conventional laundry detergents are hiding irritating ingredients masked by the cover-all word, ‚fragrance‚Äù. Likewise, while dryer sheets can help clothes stay soft and fresh-smelling, they typically contain toxic chemicals, that cling to fabric and vent into the air we breathe. Plus, being single-use is hardly a green choice! Eco Nuts laundry products are revolutionizing the way we think about laundry. They are dedicated to creating products with high quality ingredients that are effective, eco-friendly, and ethically-sourced. There are no harsh odors, harmful chemicals, or fake fillers, so you can rest assured that the articles closest to your body are truly clean and safe. This also means there are no destructive ingredients washing down the drain either. Plus, their packaging is thoughtfully made with sustainable, easy-to-recycle materials, like cardboard and aluminum. No plastic!

Check out their wild-grown, Certified Organic soap berries for a gentle and safe alternative to conventional detergent. Their Dryer Balls are made from cruelty-free New Zealand wool and provide a non-toxic, sustainable solution to harmful dryer sheets, softening clothing, lowering static, and reducing drying time!

I never used to use

I never used to use dryer sheets but I love using these wool balls. They cut dry time and static which is especially helpful having to pay to do laundry at the laundromat.

In Love After 1 Use

These dryer balls are absolutely incredible! I typically use 1 dryer sheet per load of laundry, but I was becoming very frustrated that the clothes/bedding were still full of static and taking multiple cycles to dry completely. I could already tell a huge difference with the first use. The clothes are so soft and completely dry after only one cycle. I highly recommend.

So Happy to be Done with Dryer Sheets

I'm so happy to no longer be using dryer sheets. I don't see any static on my clothes so that certainly works! I can't speak for drying faster though because I try to take out my clothes a lit damp and line dry them

Dryer Balls

Less static & over all drying time is a lot faster.

Wool dryer balls

They work well, the only reason why I did 4 of 5 stars is because my sheets roll up into a ball when drying
