Earth Friendly Features
- Ettitude makes their products from organic bamboo lyocell – a soft and sustainable textile that contains no synthetics, rayon, or modal. The lyocell (made from biodegradable and renewable cellulosic plants) is hypoallergenic, odor resistant, prevents the growth of bacteria, and absorbs moisture!
- The fiber yield per acre of bamboo used in lyocell fibers is 10x higher than that of cotton, and cotton requires 10-20x more water than lyocell fibers!
- Ettitude creates lyocell bamboo products using a closed loop manufacturing process, which is different from typical viscose bamboo textiles. The lyocell production utilizes a closed loop system that reuses 99.8% of the non-acidic solvent, and any remaining solvent can be broken down in biological water treatment plants!
- Ettitude is a member of 1% for the Planet, donating 1% of sales towards environmental non-profits worldwide
- Ettitude supports One Girl – a charity empowering girls through access to education

I returned this pair of pants. While the fabric was nice enough, the legs taper from the waist down, too quickly for comfort w/ my body, and not what I consider “relaxed fit” on a size large – it felt like there was no room in the fabric for my legs to comfortably bend or roll as I sleep. Not only that, but the product arrived in a plastic shipping pouch, and inside that pouch WAS ANOTHER PLASTIC POUCH. The inner pouch was a logo covered “ziplock” style bag (not drawstring cloth as advertised), and if it was made of compostable or recycled material, I sure didn’t see any label saying so. While it was convenient to have this pouch to ship the pants back for my return, it’s a total lie to imply this is shipped plastic free. It was also shipped in a separate delivery from the other products in my order. I understand that sometimes suppliers have separate warehouses, and not all items can be combined, but overall I simply cannot consider this a low emissions shipment. I will not be buying from Ettitude again, because I cannot trust their descriptions. It’s too bad too, because I was REALLY looking forward to bamboo jammies.

There are just not enough good things to say about these pj pants. Color is stunning, the fabric is soooo silky soft and feels fabulous against my skin. I usually get hot at night but the fabric keeps me cool at night and I can sleep through the night. A small hint to get the best fit from the pants is to order 1 size up than you normally wear and they will fit perfectly. LOVE these pants!
