    Small and thin

I understand this is a liner, but it’s very little protection. I have not tried it, I purchased it to use with a menstrual cup. I like my liners to be longer. It is also two pieces of cotton fabric. There is no other protections within it to protect your underwear from your period. I’m guessing the protection is similar to wearing an extra pair of underwear, but that would have more coverage. Not impressed.

    Great so far!

I got the liners in black for daily use (5 packs, 20 total). Growing up, I used liners for daily use, not so much for my periods. So I got these because I was using atleast 365 liners per year and realized that it was the most wasteful part of my bathroom routine. I have been using these for a week so far and I have to say I love them. I don’t really pay attention to whether or not they move. All I can say is that when I put it on, I can forget about them and go about my day and thats what I was looking for. The next thing I’ll be testing is whether or not these last a long time. I wanted something that will last a long time, so we will see how they fare!

Small, white, and okay but not my favorite

    Kubby (verified owner)

I wanted to try these out and was nervous about it being white and for good reason. It does stain very easily and I haven’t washed them yet, but I did attempt to hand wash them and it didn’t get the stain out. I don’t feel comfortable wearing these on heavy flow days, but for lighter days they are fine.

Very thin, stay in place, easy to put on and off, but very very small. Much thinner than I expected too. Overall, I prefer thicker pads and ones with a darker color so it doesn’t stain as easily and wash off better. However, if you have a light flow this might work pretty well.

They’re made of a less absorbent material than I had expected, but I’m happy with the construction of the product and the carrying pouch that’s included.

Hi there! I’d love to try these, but I’d like to know if there are any specific washing instructions after use. Do I need to soak these/use a stain treatment before washing? Are they safe to toss in the washing machine with the rest of my laundry? Thank you!

Hi Leo! Great questions! You can wash them in cold or warm settings; just avoid using hot water if you want to avoid setting stains. If you’re less concerned with stains and more concerned with sanitizing your pads, feel free to use hot water. Others have also recommended adding a little white vinegar to the water of your last rinse to help keep the fabric soft. This is especially useful if you live in an area with hard water. We hope this information helps!

If you’re less concerned with stains and more concerned with sanitizing your pads, feel free to use hot water. Some people even boil their cloth pads! Others have recommended adding a little white vinegar to the water of your last rinse to help keep the fabric soft. This is especially useful if you live in an area with hard water. Add a few drops of essential oil to the water, i.e. Rose, Lavender or Lemongrass, to give your pads a lovely scent. We hope this helps!

    Be careful how you order!

    lauramnevill (verified owner)

I thought I was getting the black liners because that’s what seemed to be in the picture, unfortunately when they came I realized they are white. I read the reviews that say they are thin, but they are absolutely comparable to a typical liner level of absorbency. They work perfectly for me. Of course, they shift a little bit more than a disposable liner that uses sticky tape, but that is to be expected, and the shifting has been very minimal for me. These are awesome, just be sure you are ordering the right absorbency and color for your needs!

Not very absorbent but stays in place

    Melissa (verified owner)

I was surprised that this actually stayed in place very well even when wearing looser shorts. It wasn’t uncomfortable and I didn’t notice it any more than single use liners that I have worn. The material was not very absorbent though, and when I checked it I noticed that there was just a wet spot on the material. I stopped wearing them because of this since single use liners absorb wetness and I don’t want to sit in wetness all day.

  13. Min

    Don’t offer much protection

    Min (verified owner)

I really wanted to love these but they just don’t work for me needs. I purchased the daily liners for daily use for light/moderate incontinence and they are just too thin for me. They feel like 1-2 layers of a thin t-shirt fabric, so very thin. I would have to change these multiple times per day, when I only need 1-2 of my other reusable pads per day, or one disposable light pantryliner. These are probably best for very very light incontinence, or as a backup for tampons or menstrual cups.

I also don’t love the Velcro. These are my only pads with Velcro; all of my others have snaps. If the Velcro shifts, it rubs against my thigh and it’s uncomfortable. It doesn’t happen often, but when it does it’s uncomfortable.

Im going to try the thicker menstrual pad and hope that works better for me.

    Sooo soft

    meli_jack23 (verified owner)

I like how soft this liners are, also reusable daily liners are hard to find so I was very happy when EarthHero added them. My only problem is that they only come in one color, black would be better, less easy to stain.

better for earth than conventional, slightly less protection

    mandischnazi (verified owner)

I love that these help me move towards zero waste. They’re useful as a “back up” on days when I’m not confident my cup will catch all. However, I’m not sure I’ll feel comfortable using these when I have to go to work any time soon if at all because: 1. Even though I recognize that they’re just liners, they still don’t seem to offer as much protection as conventional liners- they’re somewhat absorbent but blood wicks through quickly. 2. I don’t understand how people manage changing throughout the work day- just using the thin, also absorbent, cotton bag to hold them until you get home to wash? Does it not smell or bleed through?

    Does the job

    celinakidby (verified owner)

I am happy with my purchase. These pantyliners are soft, barely move around, and easy to clean. However, if I’m wearing loose clothing like sweats or a skirt, then the velcro rubs against my inner thigh. I’m not sure how to fix this problem other than wearing pants/shorts, but the pantyliner still does the job (protecting my underwear and reducing the amount of waste I make). Overall, I am satisfied with the product and would recommend.

If you had told me a year ago if I would be purchasing and using REUSABLE menstrual pads, I would’ve laughed in your face. I tried them and I love them! I’ve only used them once so far and I plan on purchasing some more. These ones are thinner so they’re best for light flows or in the beginning/end when your period is lightest. They’re pretty easy to clean, too. I’ve been soaking in warm water and a little soap for a few minutes, scrubbing against my washboard, then hanging to dry – works well and they’ll last longer!

    Soft and Comfortable

    vcboggs4 (verified owner)

I use these as an underwear protector/back up when I use a menstrual cup or on the ransoms days at the very end of my cycle when things are spotty. They work well and function just liked disposable panty liners. They are super soft like a well-wore T-shirt, and they stay in place. I have only wore then with jeans or pants, so they may move a little more when you wear a dress or skirt. I was nervous about the Velcro, but it holds well.

Love the concept of them, however they move around as they aren’t exactly tight fitting around the underwear. If the velcro was adjustable that would be perfect

I was nervous about trying these as I was use to traditional plastic liners but these have totally calmed those fears. The material Is soft, comfortable, and cleans up In the washer very well. These liners do a great job of taking care of any mess without the fear of having an accident. The design is clean and easy to use. The liners stay on my underwear with little moving around. I am happy with these liners and hope to move on to the menstrual pads.
