As a member of the grass family, bamboo is one of the fastest growing plants on earth. It requires no irrigation, pesticides or fertilizers to grow, and can be harvested within 3-5 years, as compared to approximately 30+ years for traditional hardwoods. Bamboo is extremely adaptable and produces more oxygen per acre than large tree species, while using a fraction of the water to grow. End of Life
- The brush handle and case may appear lighter and faded over time, which is normal and will not impact your experience
- When it can no longer be used, please compost or reuse the bamboo handle and case. Both will return to the soil within 6 months in a commercial or private composting bin.
- The brush bristles and handle should be disassembled for proper disposal. Use a pair of pliers to remove the bristles from the head of the toothbrush. Doing so will remove a small metal staple that is used to clamp the bristles to the handle. The bristles are very small and curbside recycling may not work. Please dispose of the bristles in your household waste.
