Note: Does not include pitcher. The Charcoal Water Filter Kit from Kishu makes it easy to purify water in a sustainable way. This water filter kit includes everything you need to substitute traditional disposable filters for most at-home water pitchers with a refillable option. The NSF Certified Activated Charcoal works by trapping toxins like lead, mercury, copper, aluminum, uranium, and molybdenum - heavy metals that one does not want in their drinking water! What’s left is delicious drinking water infused with calcium, magnesium, and potassium. Each starter kit includes a 6-month supply of artisan-made charcoal granules and a water filter container. Refills of the granules are also available to enjoy another 6 months of purified water. Note: Does not include pitcher.

Low waste water filter

We bought this filter for filtering water at work and paired it with a second hand pitcher. It’s slower than a Brita filter but it works. I’m glad to have this low waste alternative!

Replaced Brita, Works Well

I'm so happy to find a replacement to the Brita Water Filters! I was tired of trying to get the company to accept the used ones back for Recycling. I found this product on Earth Hero and have used these filters for over a year. I think they work well for our area. I just wish Earth Hero kept the Activated Charcoal replacement option in stock more.

Hey Keila, we are so sorry for this experience. We do state in the description this does not come with the water pitcher. We apologies if this was missed when placing your order. Our product team will make sure this is placed on the page so it is more clear!

So disappointed

I wanted this product to work so badly. It is a super idea, but the company needs to test more and figure something out that works better (save your money until then).
The cost is high and I could maybe justify it if it worked, but it doesn't.
The water does not drip through and filter at all if you follow instructions and use as they intended.
I have found that it works somewhat if I add less charcoal to the filter... however my worry here is that that is impacting the actual filtering so I am sacrificing water quality.
I have reached out to Earth Hero and they have reached out to the company for help. Same results.

Hi Cassy, thank you for sharing this feedback! We're really bummed to hear that the replacement granules didn't help at all. It sounds like perhaps the filter itself is defective! Our care team will be in touch shortly to make this right.
