A sustainable laundry experience that's nuts (literally!) Eco Nuts Soap Nuts are actually dried berries from trees in the Himalayas, that when agitated in water, release a natural cleansing agent called saponin–which also acts as a fabric softener. USDA Certified and completely free of chemicals or additives, this natural laundry detergent is great for sensitive skin, but still leaves clothes fresh and clean. To use: simply place 4-5 soap nuts in the provided cloth bag and toss it in the washer! Berries can be reused up to 10 times.
Compostable
This product contains material that can break down into soil in either a backyard or industrial composting system. These products are declared compostable by the manufacturer, but may not third-party certified. Contact your local waste-hauler or composting facility to determine where these materials may be accepted. Certain materials may be better fit for industrial facilities than backyard composting systems. Industrial facilities may not exist in your area.

Cruelty Free is a certification process through PETA that labels products that are not tested on animals. The most eco friendly option

I love using a natural product that produces no waste. My laundry is fresh and clean, and I was fairly skeptical with two athletic teenage boys. Lots of sweaty workout clothes in my house and they come out odorless.

I used to just wash

I used to just wash my clothes with just water trying to not pollute the water with detergent and other laundry products. I'm really happy with econuts since it does make me feel like I'm being more normal and actually cleaning my clothes but it doesn't leave a scent
